Current Program Status (2025)

Important: Dashwood Academy Prep is currently in development with a projected launch in 2026.

At this time, we serve only our Founding Families - a parent-led cooperative group whose students (called Debuts) are building the foundation for our future enrichment program. These are not official students; they are participants in a developmental co-op guided by learning coaches and parents working together.

There are no official student enrollments at this time.

2026 Enrollment Process (Future)

When we officially launch as an enrichment program in 2026, enrollment will work as follows:

Step 1: Enroll in an Accredited Online Program

Parents enroll their child independently in an accredited online school for official academic credits, transcripts, and diplomas. Most founding families chose Washington Connections Academy (WACA), but families may choose any accredited program.

Step 2: Enroll Separately in Dashwood Academy Prep

After enrolling in your chosen online program, families enroll separately with Dashwood for in-person enrichment sessions, tutoring, and support.

Both enrollments must be completed for students to participate in Dashwood's enrichment program.

Important Clarifications

Dashwood Academy Prep is NOT partnered with Washington Connections Academy or any other online program. We are an independent enrichment organization.

  • We recommend WACA because most founding families chose it and found it works well with our model

  • Families may choose ANY accredited online program that meets their needs

  • WACA is our preferred platform, not a formal requirement

  • Options can be discussed based on family needs

Students are enrolled separately and independently in their chosen online program for educational credits. Dashwood provides supplemental enrichment and support starting in 2026.
