Where classical education meets modern opportunity.

We’re honored that you’re considering Dashwood Academy Prep for your family. Choosing the right educational path is one of the most important decisions you'll make — and we’re here to help every step of the way.

Dashwood offers a unique approach: a rigorous, in-person classical education with modern innovation built on character, scholarship, and community — paired enrollment chosen by families (e.g., Washington Connections Academy). We are independent.

“We believe every child deserves access to an exceptional education — one that develops intellect, nurtures character, and prepares students to lead with purpose.”
Dashwood Academy Prep Founding Vision

As we welcome founding families for the 2025–2026 school year, we’ve designed our admissions and enrollment process to be simple, personal, and focused on your child’s future success. Our debut’s (what we call the kids) will attend our seasonal Sep 23–Dec 15 coming up.

A Commitment to Equity and Access

At Dashwood, we believe academic excellence should never be limited by zip code or income level. Our program is built on the idea that every student — regardless of background — deserves access to high-quality education, mentorship, and opportunity. Through thoughtful partnerships and a family-centered approach, we remove barriers and expand access to students who may not thrive in traditional school models.

We aim to cultivate both excellence and equity, so that all students grow in knowledge, confidence, and character — prepared for college and equipped to lead.
